In a city like Nashville, where do you find community?

Avenue South cares deeply for our young professionals, and we’ve intentionally created environments that are designed to help you find community and grow into a disciple of Jesus.

Our goal with our “Yo Pro” ministry is to:
  • Connect you to the local church in a city with so many options
  • Help you find your family away from family. We all need people to walk with during this uniquely crazy season of life!
  • Spiritually form you into a disciple who multiplies disciples
Here are some of our regular rhythms:
  • Gathering together each month to to welcome anyone and everyone
    • Panel discussions, trivia nights, game nights, worship nights, and everything in between
  • Growing into deeper community in our ongoing Life Groups and Bible Reading Groups, while also learning more about God and His word.
  • Connecting with the local church by serving with Avenue South on Sunday mornings, mission journeys, and other service projects.

Who is a Young Professional?

Our Young Professional ministry consists of anyone between ages 22 (post–undergraduate) to around 30. This includes grad school students!

We also have a place in our church for our college students, and for our adults who may be in the next season of life.

When are your monthly events? What can I expect?

Our monthly events are our “on-ramps” to community for our young professional ministry. They are designed to welcome you!

We have gone on hikes, competed in trivia, and talked about hard questions of our faith. Events like this are meant to give you a taste of who we are! They vary each month based off scheduling, but the dates can be found on our calendar.

What is a Life Group? What is a Bible Reading Group?

The highest stated goal of our Life Groups is to connect you with “biblical community.”

These groups focus on serving one another, praying for each other, and walking through life together. The highest goal of our Bible Reading Groups is to help you to comprehend the Bible, and to provide accountability for reading and growing in your love of God and His word.
