We want children to value coming to church! Each Sunday, your children can gather with others in their age group for Bible lessons and fun activities. Learn more about what to expect on a Sunday morning below.
Each week, our preschoolers have the opportunity to learn about Jesus and the stories from the Bible. Classes are age-appropriate, provide creative, interactive elements in a small groups setting, and are led by caring, committed leaders. All of these leaders have passed background checks and are passionate about sharing the gospel with the next generation.
In addition to offering age-specific groups, we believe attending worship services on a consistent basis is extremely important for children. We hope you’ll bring them with you to worship once a quarter!
Step 1: Take your name tags (both of them).
Step 2: Place one tag on your child.
Step 3: Keep one tag to present at pickup.
Note: This is very important.
If you’re a first-time guest and have questions, stop by the welcome area at the front of The Grove. Our leaders will be there to help answer your questions. We’ll get your child checked in and tell you everything you need to know.

Parents, please take a minute to familiarize yourselves with the policies for The Grove. The Preschool/Children’s Ministry of The Church at Avenue South seeks to provide the best possible learning environment for children. It is our commitment to teach children the message of God, Jesus, the Bible, and the Church. We want to make sure each child will hear the message using age-appropriate activities and resources. Our calling is to reach out to parents and partner with them in raising children who know and love Jesus.
If you have questions or need more information, please contact our Preschool and Children’s Minister,
