The Table | Young Adults at The Church at Avenue South

Here are some of our regular rhythms:
  • A monthly gathering centered around worship, teaching, and discussion. Our desire is to recreate the intimacy of the ways Jesus ministered to those around tables in the gospels. We want to be fed by the Word and filled with the Spirit. 
  • Through connecting at the Table, our Young Adults have the opportunity to dive into deeper community through our ongoing Life Groups and Bible Reading Groups, which also emphasize learning more about God and His word.
  • As you get invested, we hope to connect you with the local church by serving with Avenue South on Sunday mornings, mission journeys, and other service projects.

Who is a Young Adult?

Our Young Adult ministry consists of anyone ages 22-39. This includes grad school students!

We also have a place in our church for our college students (ages 18-22) and adults who may be in a different season of life.

When are your monthly events? What can I expect?

Our monthly gathering is our “on-ramp” to community for our young adult ministry. They are designed to welcome you! We have gone on hikes, competed in trivia, and discussed challenging questions about our faith. Events like this are meant to give you a taste of who we are! They vary from month to month based on scheduling and opportunities.

What is a Life Group? What is a Bible Reading Group?

The highest stated goal of our Life Groups is to connect you with “biblical community.”

These groups focus on serving one another, praying for each other, and walking through life together. The highest goal of our Bible Reading Groups is to help you to comprehend the Bible, and to provide accountability for reading and growing in your love of God and His word.
