As God’s people moved toward the Promised Land of Canaan, a major obstacle stood in their way—the city of Jericho. One of its citizens, Rahab, believed that the Lord was the one, true God. Therefore, she willingly participated in God’s mission, even though she risked her life in doing so. Her bold faith preserved the lineage of Jesus and moved toward the fulfillment of God’s promises.
