In the shadowed corners of the world, whispers of faith rise from the persecuted church. Christians in these regions face unimaginable hardship, sustained only by their unwavering trust in Jesus. These environments of persecution represent some of the most difficult and dangerous places to reach with the gospel. Yet, our Global Workers—both long-term missionaries and short-term teams—stand on the frontlines, carrying out evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and humanitarian aid across numerous countries.

This year, we unite in prayer for nations where the good news of Jesus has yet to be heard. Pray for God to prepare hearts to receive the gospel, even in the face of adversity. Pray that believers worldwide will be obedient to His call to go to the unreached, regardless of the risk. Let us ask for strength, courage, and protection for those serving in hard places, trusting that God’s love will break through every barrier.

Micah and Britney

November 2025 | Micah & Britney

The Somali People

This month, we’re praying for Micah and Britney, who have served as global workers in Sub-Saharan Africa since 2020. Britney is a pediatric general and thoracic surgeon who not only cares for Kenyan children and their families but also trains and disciples pediatric surgeons from across East Africa—equipping them with both surgical skill and a deepening walk with Christ. Micah, a commercial real estate developer by trade, supports Britney’s ministry, leads Bible studies for nurse anesthesia students, and serves their hospital community through leadership roles.

The Somali people, one of the largest unreached people groups in the world, are primarily Muslim and live across Somalia, Kenya, and Ethiopia. With a deep history, strong cultural identity, and resilience in the face of hardship, the Somali remain unreached by the gospel. Very few Somali have heard the good news of Jesus, and even fewer have chosen to follow Him. Yet the hope of Christ is for them, too—and we pray for a gospel movement among the Somali people.

PRAY:

  • That Micah and Britney would find rest amid the busyness of mission station life.
  • For wisdom and discernment as they consider expanding Christian pediatric surgical training in East Africa.
  • That God would draw their trainees closer to Him and strengthen them as they prepare to serve across the continent.
  • For meaningful opportunities to deepen relationships within their local community.
  • That the Somali people would hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Join us this month in lifting up Micah and Britney’s ministry and praying for the Somali people to find lasting hope in Christ.
