As we continue to see God grow our congregation at Avenue South, we are taking an important step to better steward our space. This spring, we will begin renovations to our sanctuary that will allow us to serve more people in the years ahead.

During construction, our Sunday worship gatherings will temporarily move offsite from April 26 through May 17.

Beginning Sunday, May 24, we will return to Avenue South and move to three services at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. while the balcony renovation is completed.

Why are we renovating the sanctuary?

We are renovating our sanctuary to better serve our growing congregation. These improvements will help us make space for more people to gather for worship and continue to create an environment where people can encounter Jesus.

When will we meet offsite?

Sunday worship will be offsite April 26 through May 17. During this time, we will gather at 9:30 a.m. at alternate locations.

Where will offsite worship be held?

We will gather at the Fisher Center on April 26, May 3, and May 10.
On May 17, we will gather for worship at Sevier Park, followed by a churchwide picnic.

Will Next Gen ministry be available during offsite Sundays?

Yes. Next Gen ministry will be available for birth through kindergarten at the Fisher Center gatherings.

On May 17 at Sevier Park, we will have a family worship service, and Next Gen programming will not be provided that morning.

When will we return to Avenue South?

We will return to gathering at Avenue South on Sunday, May 24.

What will worship look like after we return?

Beginning May 24, we will move to three Sunday services at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. while the balcony renovation is completed.

Will the balcony be open when we return?

No. The balcony will remain closed during the renovation period. Additional service times will help us continue to make space for everyone to gather.

Will Next Gen ministry be available once we return?

Yes. Next Gen ministry will be available at all three services once we return to Avenue South. Here is the schedule:

  • 8:00 AM | Birth to 4 year olds
  • 9:30 AM | Birth to Students 
  • 11:00 AM | Birth to 5th Grade 

Will groups and midweek gatherings continue?

Yes. Groups and midweek gatherings will continue meeting on campus at Avenue South as scheduled unless otherwise communicated.
