Church Family,
I want to update you on our sanctuary renovation, and a change of plans that has developed over the last few hours. We’ve been looking forward to being back together at 901 Acklen Avenue this weekend. However, following inspections today (Friday), the Fire Marshal has advised that we are not able to meet in our sanctuary this Sunday, May 24.
We’ve worked diligently over the past several weeks to anticipate any challenges we might face during the construction process, so our staff is feeling disappointment about this news. At the same time, we’re grateful for the care being taken to ensure the sanctuary is safe for us to use again very soon.
Because of this, we’ve had to pivot quickly, and we will now be providing a recorded service that will stream live on Sunday morning at 9:30AM. Through previous experiences, like inclement weather that keeps us from worshipping in person, we’ve come to appreciate technology and learned how to worship online as a congregation. I hope you’ll join us online this Sunday, but I also want to remind you that we are part of a multi-site church family. There are eight additional regional campuses in Middle Tennessee where you can worship in person this weekend. Visit brentwoodbaptist.com for all locations and service times.
Grace and Peace,
Aaron Bryant
Campus and Teaching Pastor
Beginning Sunday, May 31, we will return to Avenue South and move to three services at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. while the balcony renovation is completed.
