The Preschool Ministry at The Church at Avenue South believes parents are the primary disciplers of their children—and we are your partners in that process. That’s why, each week, we create a safe, fun, and creative environment for your preschoolers to learn about God.

Upcoming Events

Sundays

Preschool Groups

Sundays | 9:00 AM | Birth–Kindergarten

Each week, our preschoolers have the opportunity to learn about Jesus and the stories from the Bible. Classes are age-appropriate, provide creative, interactive elements in a small groups setting, and are led by caring, committed leaders. All of these leaders have passed background checks and are passionate about sharing the gospel with the next generation.

Worship Care

Sundays | 10:45 AM

In addition to offering age-specific groups, we believe attending worship services on a consistent basis is extremely important for children. We hope you’ll bring them with you to worship once a quarter!

Your Child’s Safety Matters

We value the protection of your child. That’s why we hired MinistrySafe in 2021 to reinforce and enhance our policies and procedures regarding abuse. We thoroughly vet our staff and volunteers, as well as require background checks and child abuse prevention trainings. Through our Code of Conduct, leaders commit to live by God’s Word and follow His standards for holiness, living above reproach in their actions and attitudes.

For all emergencies, our teams are equipped with detailed plans for weather-related events (such as fires or tornados), power outages, and active intruders.

Parent Policies & Guidelines

Parents, please take a minute to familiarize yourselves with the policies for The Grove. The Preschool/Children’s Ministry of The Church at Avenue South seeks to provide the best possible learning environment for children. It is our commitment to teach children the message of God, Jesus, the Bible, and the Church. We want to make sure each child will hear the message using age-appropriate activities and resources. Our calling is to reach out to parents and partner with them in raising children who know and love Jesus.
